Privacy Policy for Autogram

Last updated: October 7, 2025

Thank you for choosing Autogram
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Autogram handles user data when using the app.

1. Overview

Autogram is a mobile application to upload recipes and ingredients to Autogram machine and it scans QR codes using your device’s camera.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

In short:

  • Autogram only uses your camera to scan QR codes.

  • We do not collect, store, or share any images, videos, or personal information.

  • The QR code scanning happens entirely on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be transparent: Autogram does not collect any personal information.

Specifically, we do not:

  • Record or save camera images or videos

  • Collect location or GPS data

  • Collect or store QR code contents

  • Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

All scanning is performed locally within your device’s memory and is not transmitted elsewhere.

3. Camera Access

Autogram requires camera permission only for the purpose of scanning QR codes.
When you grant camera access:

  • The app activates your camera to detect and decode QR codes in real-time.

  • The camera feed is used temporarily while the scanning screen is active.

  • No photos or videos are captured, recorded, or stored on your device or our servers.

If you deny camera permission, the QR scanning functionality will not work, but you may still open the app interface.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Autogram does not store any user data, scanned results, or images.

  • All QR code processing is done on-device (locally).

  • No data is transmitted to external servers or third parties.

  • As there is no user data collected, there is no risk of data leakage or misuse.

5. Third-Party Services

Autogram does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
We do not share data with any external parties because we do not collect any in the first place.

6. Children’s Privacy

Autogram does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
The app can be safely used by all age groups as it contains no tracking, ads, or data collection mechanisms.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for compliance with laws and platform requirements.
The latest version will always be available within the app or on its Play Store listing.
Any updates will take effect immediately upon publication.
